The Intel Experience at Best Buy is an interactive play land that lets consumers experience new and emerging technologies in person. Located at select locations across America (50 locations in 25 states as of this writing), shoppers get hands-on (literally) with technologies such as virtual reality, wearables, touch screens, and 2-in-1s.
Bob's role in this large project was to create a video player running on a Toshiba laptop (with Intel Inside, of course), featured in a free-standing kiosk that highlights Intel's wearable technologies the Recon Jet™ Smart Eyewear and Basis Peak™ activity tracker. Both products are physically on display for consumers to check out, while the video player highlights key features and functionality.
The video player features a video attract loop/screen saver, a touch screen interface with full HD video playback, as well as back end user activity tracking and logging for developing usage metrics for further Intel marketing purposes.
