Tour de Force

This project encompasses four separate applications running on 12 different kiosks in the Michelin Tour De Force traveling event trucks — a two semi-tractor trailer touring attraction. Each of the kiosks was designed to facilitate sweepstakes entries and other events happening within the Michelin event. Here's a synopsis of each:

• Michelin Academy — visitors to the Michelin Tour De Force event were invited to sign up for a special on-site driving seminar taught by professional racer Skip Barber. Using these kiosks, attendees enter their personal information and answer a few market survey questions about their tires and automobiles. When the survey is complete and the user submits their information, the kiosk prints out a ticket for admission to that day's event.
• Test Drive Experience — visitors to these kiosks are invited to sign up for special market area test drives of vehicles using Michelin tires. Users provide their personal information and answer a few short survey questions. They are later sent an email with details regarding time and location of the test drive.
• Dodge/Skip Barber Driving School Sweepstakes — at these kiosks, users are able to enter a sweepstakes to win an all expenses paid trip to the Skip Barber Driving School.
• Michelin Trivia — in these fun kiosks, players are presented with a series of 20 Michelin trivia questions. Correct answers are tracked using an on-screen tire gauge. For each correct answer the tire gauge inflates another notch. Players can see at a glance how well they've done by how high the gauge has risen.

All kiosks are linked together and the user data is stored in a centralized database. Because the data is centralized, during registration at any of the kiosks, users have the option to enter all three of the events and sweepstakes, saving them from having to go to each kiosk individually and entering their information over and over again.
