The Nokia 5110 was the very first mobile phone to feature interchangeable covers in a rainbow of colors — a signature feature of many of Nokia's phones today. To illustrate how easy it was to change the covers, as well as demonstrate key features of the phone, we created a Flash presentation that starts by showing the various covers as the petals of a vibrant flower.
To get started, the user clicks on their color "petal" of choice then clicks on the distinctive Navi-Key at the center of the flower. Clicking the Navi-Key — an important feature of the phone that allows users to access features at a single touch — causes the flower to bloom into a full-size version of the cover in the chosen color that then slides onto the phone and clicks into place. The user can then use on-screen navigation (in the shape of a flower) to explore the phone and view animated demonstrations of the other key features of the phone.
